কোভিড-১৯ -সচেতনতা ও প্রতিকার কোর্সটিতে আপনাকে স্বাগতম। ব্র্যাক ও সরকারের একসেস টু ইনফরমেশন প্রোগ্রাম যৌথভাবে কোর্সটি চালু করেছে।  করোনা ভাইরাস ও প্রতিরোধে আমাদের করণীয়  কোর্সটি আগ্রহী সাধারন জনগণ, ভলেন্টিয়ার, ডাক্তার ও গণমাধ্যম শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য তৈরি করা হয়েছে।  কোর্সটির মাধ্যমে যেকেউ কোভেড-১৯ ভাইরাস ও প্রতিরোধে করণীয় বিষয়ে জরুরি প্রাথমিক জ্ঞান অর্জনে সক্ষম হবেন।

প্রশিক্ষণটিতে একজন প্রশিক্ষণার্থী তার সুবিধামত সময়ে কম্পিউটার বা মোবাইল দিয়ে ইন্টারনেটে সংযুক্ত হয়ে  ৩০ মিনিটেরও কম সময় ব্যয় করেই কোর্সটি সম্পন্ন করতে পারবেন। প্রশিক্ষণে ৩ টি পাঠ্যতালিকা আছে।  প্রতিটি পাঠ্যতালিকা শিক্ষার্থীর জন্য উন্মুক্ত ও প্রত্যেক পাঠ্যতালিকায় একটি অডিও-ভিজুয়াল লেকচার আছে।  সেই সাথে প্রত্যেক মডিউলে শেষে বিভিন্ন কুইজ আছে, যেখানে শতকরা ৮০ ভাগ নম্বর পেলে আপনারা পরবর্তি মডিউলে যেতে পারবেন এবং কোর্সটি সম্পন্ন করতে পারবেন।

কোর্সটি সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন করার পর আপনি ব্র্যাক ও একসেস টু ইনফরমেশন প্রোগ্রাম (এটুআই)- এর প্রধান কর্তৃক স্বাক্ষরিত একটি সনদ অর্জন করতে পারবেন। সনদটি অনলাইনে ডাউনলোডও করার সুযোগ আছে। কোর্স সংক্রান্ত যেকোনো প্রশ্ন, মন্তব্য, পরামর্শ জানাতে পারবেন ওয়েবসাইটের ‘আলোচনা’ অংশে।

Kevin Tucker, MD, assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, spoke with Christopher Palmer, MD, a practicing academic psychiatrist, about the mental health effects of the ongoing pandemic and how health care providers can help their patients navigate this challenging time.

There is No One-Size-Fits-All Solution

Psychiatrists and psychiatric experts are anticipating that a mental health crisis will result from the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to the innumerable lives lost, communities have experienced increased unemployment, which in itself often leads to increased rates of domestic violence, alcoholism, drug abuse and suicide.

While everyone is experiencing this pandemic differently, we are collectively facing an extraordinary level of stress. There is not a one-size-fits-all solution for those suffering from mental health effects as we navigate to ‘the new normal.’
